The Small and Medium-Sized Business Recovery Grant program provided fully funded grants to businesses to ensure they have the support they need during and beyond COVID-19. 

 

Grants of $10,000 to $30,000 were available to small and medium-sized B.C. businesses impacted by COVID-19. An additional $5,000 to $15,000 grant is available to eligible tourism-related businesses. 

Many new craft businesses were "locked out" as they had not opened and didn't have comparable figures or positive cash flow even though they had been in business.

As an Authorized Service Provider, Sherri-Lee worked directly with Save Startups and the Ministry to allow for consideration to the program.

As a result 15 craft businesses (breweries/distillers) who were initially denied or told they didn't qualify, were reconsidered and eventually approved for the program.
